Nisse Springs is the creation of siblings Dustin and Trisha Stortz.  They both grew up near Twin Springs Park, a magical outdoor oasis, not far from Decorah, Iowa.  From the bluffs to the trout streams, Twin Springs Park is a bit of a fairytale.  The fall foliage is what a pumpkin spice latte wishes it could be and the winter snow is what a snow globe aspires to be.  Trisha has said she grew up knowing the word Nisse before the word gnome.  Attending a preschool with Nisse in the name and the Scandinavian influences in Decorah, probably had a lot to do with this,  From fond memories near the park to the mischievous farm nisse folklore, Nisse Springs was created.
